August Sketch: Hey Foxy

Happy Tuesday everyone.
Today at Die Cuttin' Divas, we have our monthly sketch challenge.

What a sweet sketch to play with!

I am low on birthday cards and after seeing this paper, thought it would be perfect for a little birthday fox!
The paper I used is Fabulous Girl by Recollections.

The cute fox I found on design space. I added a little birthday hat for him too.
I used my Elegant Edges cartridge and cut the mat at  3 1/2".
The sentiment is from Cardz TV More Critter Punnies.

The inside sentiments are from Cardz TV stamp sets Critter Punnies and Good Times.

I love how this little guy came out and I have 5 cards now to add to my card stash!

Happy Tuesday everyone.
I have been busy making Christmas cards this week. It seems like the only time I have to get things done is the Summer....So I'm taking advantage.

I've finished another quilt and made a few different designs of Christmas cards using my stamp sets.

Our challenge this week at Die Cuttin' Divas is...
~ Embossing ~

For my card, I used Heat embossing and a Gerda Steiner Stamp and Die combo!
I am in LOVE with how this turned out...

I used Gerda Steiner Designs stamp set and die called Carol Kittens.I am in LOVE with this musical singing kitties.....
The embossing was done in Recollections Snow embossing powder.

I made the background using Tim Holtz Oxide Inks in Faded Jeans and Broken China and also Night of Navy by Stampin' Up.

I stamped some snowflakes using a very faint white ink, added some snowflakes and voila. \
My kitties where colored using Stampin' Up Blendabilities in Crumb Cake (Light and Dark). For the hats I used Copic Markers R24 and R89. I added some little pink cheeks Copic R81.

Thanks for stopping by!

Flip Flops are the Glass Slippers of Summer

Happy Tuesday Everyone.

The weather is finally starting to turn nice in New Brunswick which comes at a perfect time for this weeks challenge.

"Anything Tropical or Summer"

My daughter has been obsessed with flip flops
so when I seen this SVG, I knew who I was making it for.

I used a Hot pink sparkly glitter vinyl to make the image.

The image comes from Etsy and I used my Cricut to cut it out and Siser vinyl on the image.

Thanks for stopping in. Be sure to check out the rest of the design teams projects!
