DCD #139: Anything Goes

Happy Diva Tuesday.  Today our challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas is an easy one.  It is...
Anything Goes
For my project, I chose to make a Christmas Card with my new Create a Friend Cricut cartridge.  What an adorable cartridge.  I've had it for over a month now and finally, just this week took the plastic off of the case.
I used the Operation Write Home sketch #194 as my layout and tweeked it a little for my card. The whole card was made from left over scraps that I had in my scraproom.

*Robotz Cricut Cartridge p. 29, 30, 31, 37 and 41 all at 2", phrase at 1"

DCD: Happy Halloween

Happy Die Cuttin' Divas Tuesday.  Today our theme is Happy Halloween.  For my project, I chose to make a Halloween Decor item using a glass block, and some Cricut vinyl I had lying around.  I also used the Theresa Collins Chic and Scary Cricut Cartridge.  I believe it is still free through CCR. I paid less than $10 for all the materials.  Our Dollar store had the ribbon and lights for $1.00 each.

DCD #137:Dessert Day

Happy Tuesday. Today at Die Cuttin' Divas we are celebrating everything Desserts. Yesterday was National Dessert Day.  So for this weeks challenge, we are challenging you to make a project that includes an image of a dessert.
This weeks sponsor is Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps and one lucky winner will receive a stamp set.
For my project, I made a Pie Tag that I included in this years Apple Pies.  My family and I picked two huge bags on apples this year and every year I make pies, Apple Crisp, muffins and a slew of other goodies. For the pies that I gave to people this year, I included the baking instructions on the back of this tag.
I used Simply Charmed for the pie and Winter Woodland for the tag.
The pie is found on p. 43 of the Simply Charmed Cartridge. I cut off the cherry part though because they were apple pies, not cherry.
Patterned paper is by DCWV Spiced Cider stack.
The tag is found on p. 48 of the Winter Woodland Cricut Cartridge.

Be sure to head over to Die Cuttin' Divas to see some yummy projects by our fabulous Design Team.
