Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge #108: Sweet

It's Tuesday and today we have a great challenge in store for you at Die Cuttin' Divas.  Our challenge this week is for you to include embossing and a ribbon on your project. Easy peasy....

For my project, I chose to make a "sweet" Ice cream Sundae for a birthday card.

I embossed the ice cream with my Divine Swirl embossing folder.

Cut It Up Challenges 15: Lion or Lamb

Happy Friday.  Today our challenge over at Cut It Up deals with March. I`m sure you have heard the saying `March Comes in like a lion, goes out like a lamb.`
So that is our challenge! We challenge you to use a lion or a lamb on your project. And remember to use a die cut.
For my project, I used the Wild Card 2 cricut cartridge and paired it with a cute pun from My Pink Stamper. 





Our challenge starts today, March 22nd and ends April 3rd, 2013 at Noon EST.

Bunny Challenge-Die Cuttin' Divas #107: Let's hop to it!

Good morning everyone.  Today we have such a cute challenge for you over at Die Cuttin' Divas.  Our challenge is perfect for Easter and comes at a great time to help you get those last minute Easter cards made.  For this weeks challenge, we were asked to include a bunny on our project.
I chose to use a sketch from Creative Craft Challenges from a few weeks ago and used 3 Birds on Parade for my cut.

I chose to use the image Little Miss Muffet for my Sugar Kissed Cottage image.  I love this image and it immediately made me think of that darling little Nursery Rhyme.

For my Bee inspired project, I used the Wild Card 2 Cricut Cartridge and cut the card with a matching envelope.  I found this paper in one of my paper stacks and new immediately that this was the card!

Craft Your Passion Challenge #153: Favorite 2 Colors

That last of week of February is a busy birthday time in our family.  My sister, brother in law, Aunt, cousin, and son all have birthday's one after another on the calendar.  My sister is an avid skier and hiker so I chose to make a birthday card for her from Campin' Critters.

 I added some stickles to the trees and mountains to make it look like snow.

Cut It Up Challenges #14: Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

Happy Friday. Today starts a new challenge over at Cut It Up.  This will be the first challenge for the new Design team so be sure to check out everyone's fabulous, Seussical projects!
Today our theme is Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss.  Dr. Seuss' birthday was March 2nd so in honor of his birthday, we challenge you to make something inspired by one of his books. (Use fish, cats, elephants, etc.) Remember to use a die cut and let your imagination soar...
You have the chance to win this Seussical prize...


For my project, I chose to make a graduation card with the inspiration being the book Oh! The Places You'll Go. My die cut comes from the Everyday Pop Up Cards Cricut Cartridge and I had to put it on an Action Wobble.
