Cut It Up Challenge #22: New Nations

Happy Friday...doesn't that have a beautiful ring to it.  Today we have a new challenge over at Cut It Up Challenges.

Today our challenge is called New Nations. Since Canada Day is July 1st and Independence Day is July 4th, create something that celebrates either of these Countries, but remember to use a die cut somewhere on your project.
This challenge starts today, June 28th and ends July 10th at Noon EST.
Since I am Canadian (The only Canadian on the Design Team) I used my Go Canada Cartridge.  I chose to use images that are very symbolic to Canada.....forgot the Tim Horton's cup though....!

Die Cuttin' Divas #121: Birthday with 3 embellies

We have a fabulous challenge for you today at Die Cuttin' Divas.  Today our challenge is to create a birthday card but include 3 embellishments. That means either the same type of three different ones.  You could use ribbon, buttons, pearls, brads, flowers, skittles, etc...
For my project, I made a birthday card for a fellow music teacher friend who's birthday is tomorrow.  She is an amazing and talented woman and plays the fiddle.
I used Paper Craft Crew sketch #45 as my inspiration & Elegant Edges and A Child's Year for the die cuts.

Craft Your Passion Challenge #168: In the Garden

Today at Craft Your passion we have a great "Summery" theme.  Our theme this week is In The Garden.  You could do a garden themed image or build a garden scene.  Our sponsor this week is Heather Ellis.
For my image, I used Heather Ellis' image Pure Innocence 017. I think this week I am going to make another project with this image as the possibilities are endless.
I used Paper Craft Crew sketch #36 as my sketch and a piece of K & Company paper I had left over from another project.

 I added some Glossy Accents to this little one's boots and all the hearts.

Die Cuttin' Divas #120: Cool

Craft Your Passion #167: Let's Play Dress Up

For my card, I chose to use Stamp Fairy image Toby Spring Fairy 4. I colored it using my Prismacoloring Pencils.

Cut it Up #21: Red, White & Blue

Happy Friday.  I am so glad the weekend is upon us.  Today we have a great challenge at Cut It Up Challenges.  Our theme this week goes with Flag Day which we celebrate today!  For this weeks challenge, we challenge you to make something red, white and blue and remember to use a Die cut somewhere on your project.

For my project, I made a graduation card using my new Teddy Bear Parade cartridge. I am in LOVE with this cartridge!  I have a cousin graduating from High School and I love his Buddy Holly looking glasses, so when I seen this cute little graduation bear with the same dark rimmed large glasses, it was a no brainer!
