Cut It Up #9: Out With the Old!

Happy Friday and I hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas with your family and friends.  It's time for another challenge at Cut It Up.  This time the challenge is "Out With The Old."  You are to create a project that reuses something from the house that you typically would not use in your papercrafting. (ie. A pendant from an old necklace, the acetate backing from a sticker sheet, fabric from some old clothing, etc) and remember to use a die cut. The prize for this weeks challenge is sponsored by Cut It Up.

A few weeks ago my wonderful staff hosted a baby shower for my daughter and me.  I went through my gift bag "hoarding" collection the other night and cut off all of the ribbon and even cut some of the bags to use as a background mat for paper.
For this project I used some of the many different ribbons that I collected and also some of the background mats (hard to see on this project)
Here is the finished project...

Materials Used:
*A2 Size card (long)
*ribbon and gift bag for mat
*Patterned paper by Ki Memories Enchanted Paper Stack
*Baby Steps Cricut Cartridge by Provocraft  cut at 3 1/4"
*Peachy Keen #650 Just Baby Faces Assortment 5/8"
*Strip of patterned paper (3 3/4" x 1 1/2")
*Yellow Glitter Glue by Studio G
*Stampin' Up for Sentiments
*Dimensionals
*Gelly Roll pens
*Cardstock by Recollections Butterfly Wings Collection
